All the flavors of an egg roll, with no deep frying

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 4 slice green onions
  • 2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 16 ounce coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground chicken or pork, breaking it up. If desired, drain any fat.
  2. Stir in the whites of the green onions, ginger, garlic, and coleslaw mix. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the coleslaw/cabbage becomes tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Divide into bowls and garnish with cilantro, greens of green onions, and sesame seeds.
  5. Add chopped fresh cilantro to taste.
  6. Add sesame seeds to taste.
